Very awesome motel Love this place...best the owners of the motel are awesome I came in late one night nothing was open and the owner she made me egg sandwichs . Very good place to stay they even have a bench facing the West so you can watch the sunset
a little old with a rustic style but couldn't ask for a better place to stay. The owners are good and friendly people, and reflect what hospitality should be, ( to bad they can't bottle it and sell it.
I talked with Mary Lou to introduce myself as a traveling Nurse. She is so comforting after a long drive and she wanted to make sure I was OK? I was just getting ready to call when I got in town. Here Lil Max is so very friendly but the best Lil pup, she called to make sure I was OK found the place met me with the best heart ever. I don't need a 5 star but this is she is amazing and I feel at home as a traveling nurse. I give it definitely a 5 star. So clean.
This is a quaint little motel. The couple that runs it is very courteous and helpful. We were able to spend a restful night, shower and continue on our way the next morning just fine. Only complaint is the mattress was too hard for our tastes. It was clean though.
This has been deer camp for my guys and I for almost a decade. we love this place the hospitality is bar none. Very clean and respectable. Recently remodeled. We love it!
I realize that we can't please everyone from the price to the mattress too hard or too soft, yes this is an older motel but we have made upgrades that people don't realize. I have replaced the heating/cooling system, remodeled the bathrooms, changed out the bedding, just to name a few things..I just wanted people to feel at home, I have met some amazing people along the way and a lot of them keep in touch...I thank you for making the Redwood Motel a good memory on your journey! BTW...one day a few years ago, we had the group " Deuce" from Los Angeles stop in for a few hours to rest and shower on their way to Sioux Falls. ..we fixed a lunch of BLT's and fried potatoes for them. Then we went to AJ's for ice cream and surprise one of their fans!! In closing, I apologize for not being your 5 star hotel...I think those places are over rated.
It was a little old but it wasn't expensive so it worked really well. Also the couple who own the place are unbelievably amazing. Location is great because it is a 2 minute walk from the bar which is very helpful.
The lady was nice and sweet at the front desk. She was very understanding about how late we had to check in. I recommend this motel to anyone that's traveling.
One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. Family run, operated, and lovingly taken care of, Mary Lou will give her shirt off her own back to take care of you. Small, 5 rooms, But I felt like I was at home. Thank you Mary Lou!!!!
The hospitality at this little motel is spectacular. I’m a contractor that was doing some work for some friends and picked this place to stay. The room was sufficient and the customer service was some of the best I’ve ever experienced. I’ve stayed at 4 & 5 star hotels that didn’t have customer service any where close to as good as it was in this little motel!
